Whether you’re into billiards, bridge, digital motorsports, archery, darts, grip strength competitions, ski orienteering, precision shooting, dog sledding, cricket, taekwondo—or something else entirely—make sure to book your accommodation close to all the action!
Finnish Winter Swimming Championships – February 7–9, 2020
A record number of participants is expected at the Finnish Winter Swimming Championships, held in Joensuu’s brand-new Ilosaari Lagoon. Finnish Junior Cross-Country Skiing Championships in Kontiolahti – February 13–16, 2020

We’re just as excited about the biathlon buzz in our neighboring municipality of Kontiolahti here in Joensuu! Our accommodations are currently fully booked during the event — but we’ll let you know if anything becomes available!
‒Dog Shows – May 22–24, 2020
We welcome dogs too — and many dog show visitors already know it! This spring, Joensuu will be full of furry friends as the dog show takes over the city in May. Be sure to ask about our pet-friendly accommodation well in advance!
