The JIPPO street train departs every hour from a stop at the corner of the square in the city centre, from where it heads to Holiday Linnunlahti. After this, the street train curves around to the River Station and the Arts Quarter before arriving back at the city centre stop.
You can ride the street train in Joensuu from 8 August. until today, from 11am to 5pm on weekdays and from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays. Please note that the last train leaves from the central station every hour after the end of the hour – i.e. at 16:00 on weekdays and 14:00 on Saturdays.
Tickets cost 7€ for adults and 5€ for children (under 12 years). You can also buy tickets for the street train at our café Holiday Linnunlucht! 😎
